The research of contemporary values and realities through which the Soviet forms of art and their new meaning for society appears in work of artist Taisia Melnyk.

"I want to rethink the art of that time on the example of the Kavaleridze's works and the monument to Princess Olga in particular. I wish to rethink the image of a woman, a defender, a warrior, and a state power through my own body, sound, light and to create their new sound, meaning for the audience, to create a new vision of the forgotten history of doomed to destruction or reproach sculptures through modern media."
